Stichting Ambulance Wens Nederland is een groep van 270 medisch geschoolde vrijwilligers die dagelijks gratis laatste wensen vervullen van immobiele (mensen die afhankelijk zijn van ambulancevervoer) terminale patiënten met behulp van speciaal daarvoor ontwikkelde ambulances.
Reactie echtgenoot van een geholpen patiënt na haar overlijden:
“Ik hoop dat dit mag blijven bestaan, het is een geweldig lichtpunt tijdens het proces van sterven.”
